Rancher's Choice test 5 to 10 new herd sires every year, some of these herd sires are brought in from the top breeding establishments in North America. These sires are tested against the established herd sires and also against each other. Because Rancher's Choice has many herd bulls, the young sires brought in that do not compete with our standards are discarded. These inferior genetics do not continually go out into the beef industry. This alone is a big saving to our customers. Our customers can buy with confidence that they have the leading genetics in the Black Angus business.

Below is a sampling of the herd sires currently in use by Rancher's Choice. These bulls are descendants of the Bardolene, Rito and Essoteric genetics developed at Rancher's Choice. We are also developing other bull lines such as the 12U and Bandalier lines. There are 90 of these daughters already working in the Rancher's Choice program. We also have the Winston and Bardolier lines, so you can see the depth and uniformity that the Rancher's Choice program has.
